After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email and welcome pack. Bring any dental X-rays taken within the last 12 months. At your appointment, Dr Amit will evaluate your dental history and any immediate concerns, take necessary X-rays, and then walk you through everything on a 55-inch screen – including your budget, goals, and treatment options. If you'd like to proceed, we'll book a second visit to finalise your personalised treatment plan.

A dental crown is used when you still have your natural tooth, but it needs protection or restoration. Common reasons include a weakened, cracked, or broken tooth, a large or failing filling, a misshapen or discoloured tooth, or as the final step of a dental implant.

A bridge is used when a tooth is missing entirely. It fills the gap, helping to restore chewing function and the appearance of your smile.

Both are custom tooth prosthetics designed to closely replicate the appearance and function of natural teeth. They are made in-practice while you wait, using zirconia or Emax – TGA-certified materials that are strong, tooth-coloured, and biocompatible.

A filling seals a tooth, while a crown seals and protects it. When a tooth has lost more than 50% of its structure due to decay or cracking, a crown is the better option – it acts like a helmet, shielding the tooth from the full force of your jaw when you chew.

For minor decay or damage, a filling is usually sufficient. For more severely broken down teeth, a crown provides the protection a filling simply can't.
