What To Expect When Coming In For A Custom Mouthguard or Bite Splint
Whether you’re having a sports mouthguard or bite splint made, the process is mostly the same and requires 2 appointments.
- The first step is creating an impression of both your top and bottom teeth with a mould.
- We then send your moulds away to our dental laboratory when they get made. This process can take up to 2 weeks.
- Once we receive your custom made mouthguard or bite splint our dentists will check the fit and perfect it with any small adjustments you may need.
